As a lot of us are already aware, The CW will be deburing in September, 2006... The WB and UPN will be ceasing all its operations after 11 years.

The CW will be picking up some of the best shows from The WB, including Gilmore Girls, Smallville, Reba, and Living with Fran. Some of the best shows from UPN, including WWE Smackdown, Veronica Mars, America's Next Top Model, and Everybody Hates Chris.

Here in Atlanta, WATL won't be known as Atlanta's WB for much longer, and WUPA won't be known as UPN Atlanta for much longer. I guess we'll be looking forward to the new network's debut on WUPA in September.

WATL has already stopped saying "Atlanta's WB" on most of their v/os.

I look forward to seeing The CW in Atlanta, but I'm really going to miss The WB.

I notice that with the voice overs too, where they're calling themselves "WATL". I notice they're yet to remove the "WB" from the logo. You may already be noticing the FOX/News Corp. O&O UPN affiliates that they've already removed the "UPN" from their logos, like... WWOR, KCOP, WPWR, WDCA, etc.

To see for yourself... www.wwortv.com, www.kcop.com, and www.wdca.com.

At the same time, FOX/News Corp. have thought up a new "mini-network". My Network TV. WUPA getting The CW. Hmmm, I wouldn't mind non FOX/News Corp. O&O's losing UPN and/or The WB getting the new network. I'm guessing we'll have to wait and see about that.

I've got some more news to share regarding "The CW". 3 more stations can now be added to that list.

WKCF, the WB affilaite in Orlando
WBNX, the WB affilaite in Cleveland
WJZY, the UPN affiliate in Charlotte

Could and might be very likely to get it (It's a guess... it's yet to be confirmed)...

WASV, the UPN affiliate in Greenville-Ashville-Spartanburg
WTTO, the WB affiliate in Birmingham
WNUV, the WB affilaite in Baltimore

no word if KMWB would become a affiliate of the CW, keyc is a secondary affiliate of UPN, keyc might consider being a secondary affiliate of the CW
