I was on the website for WCBI-4 (CBS) Columbus Mississippi which is owned by Morris Multimedia along with WMGT-41 in Macon. WCBI has photos of their studio on their website. The news set is about 90% identical to the one used on "Today's MGT". So if anyone hasn't seen the WMGT broadcasts, you'll get an idea from WCBI's photos. The news set is very simular to WMGT with the exception of the (backliit) CBS logo replaced with the nbc logo on each side of the back wall. Both stations have the same mural of a fake newsroom/contol room while WMGT's reads "Middle Georgia News" in the background. Also, where it says "WCBI NEWS" in Mississippi, in Macon is reads "NBC" with the NBC logo. (Added after watching MGT News....the anchor desk itself is different but same colors, Also the weather desk at MGT has all flat panel monitors while WCBI has older/traditional computer monitors.) The macon news set does not have a "Today's MGT" logo on the news set but in the background mural you can see the old "41" logo. Also, where WCBI has "first alert" on their weather set, WMGT has "AccuWeather". WCBI's photos show an interview set but it is nothing like the one WMGT uses for their early morning newscast. I do wish that WMGT would put photos of their facilty and studio online.
