When the tornadoes came through yesterday evening it was ch. 2 that dominated the coverage. First with Brad Nitz and David Chandley, then Glenn Burns too. It seemed the other stations were doing much shorter updates, WSB was in continuous coverage.
I also really like the new HD radar equipment, looks good and good info.
I say score this as a win for ch 2.

I live in Coweta County where the tornadoes struck on Friday & Sunday, so a major thanks goes to WSB for staying on. WXIA was also pretty good with their coverage.

i think david chandley and brad nitz were doing a fine job getting all the info they could out there. why did glenn burns feel the need to show up. by the time he got there the storm was way past my little corner of the world. i don't have anything against mr burns i just think brad & david had it under control. brad & dave can explain weather just as good as glen can. before any one goes off on me i know he is not the only 'chief' meteorologist on atl tv that does this. i wasn't watching the other channels so i don't know if they did this time or not.
