WNCF-32 In Montgomery Alabama is the third commercial station in the market, signing on in the mid 1960's as WKAB. The station changed it's call letters twice in the 1990's, first to WHOA "Heart Of Alabama" and then WNCF "Where News Comes First". They call themselves "ABC-32" on the air. But WNCF's News was not first on the minds of the Montgomery viewers as WNCF was always dead last in the ratings. WKAB and WHOA had newscasts off and on and WNCF was the greatest attempt at news but they cancelled their regular newscasts in 2003. The station does news programs today ("32 news 10 @ 10") but they dont seem to amount to much. After all WSFA is the king of TV news in Alabama. This is the original studio location built in 1964 just east of Downtown Montgomery. I don't know if they actually use this transmitter today but this was the original 1964 transmitter location. This studio building was expanded for the WNCF ABC 32 NEWS attempt in 1999. These are WNCF's vehicles. Ford Van and Nissan Xterra
