Veteran Investigative Reporter Dale Cardwell has resigned from Channel 2 to pursue other career opportunities. His bio has already been removed from the wsbtv website.
What a sad day - the man is a great reporter - one of the best in the region as far as I was concerned.
EDIT: I guess we know now what he meant by 'other career opportunities'...

On a similar note, Clark Howard is giving serious consideration to running for Mayor of Atlanta.
These guys are putting the "Action" back in Action News...
