Read something on another blog site that said Jeff Hullinger is leaving Tampa after a couple of years there as the weekend sports anchor at WTSP channel 10. Can anyone confirm this? Any chance of him coming back to Atlanta? If so, where would he go, I personally don't care for the sports guy at CBS46. Hullinger may be a good fit there.

He had spent 20 years at FOX 5. When Jeff Hullinger started over at FOX 5, Bill Hartman had been serving as the stations primary sports anchor. A few years later, they decided to demote Bill Hartman, whom would later leave the station, and jump over to Channel 2. I just hope Jeff Hullinger isn't coming back to Atlanta.
My grandmother thought of Jeff Hullinger to be very arrogant... Excuse my French. My grandmother didn't particularly like his sarcasm toward people. She thought of his sarcasticness as very inappropriate.

I've got an update on him. WTSP is letting him go after 2 years with the Tampa Bay CBS affilaite, serving as weekend sports anchor and reporter. NewsBlues.com is reporting... No renewal for Tampa sports anchor.

That's a shame - I was a fan of Jeff's when he was at FOX, and I was surprised when he was let go. He was such a fixture there. I was waiting for the other shoe to drop and wave bye-bye to Ken Cook next, but thankfully he's been spared (although the creepy 70's moustache needs to take a hike!)
